Was this your first attempt at this sort of photography? Please tell me it's not cause otherwise I'm going to be really jealous I think the shots turned out fantastic. The only critique I would have is that with your second shot I would've taken one step back so that there was a little bit of room to the right of her legs.

Agreeing with Nicole's comment; the leg is close to being tangent to the frame. But these are nice shots with controlled lighting. I'm glad you looked around for tips. It does look like it helped you with these shots.

Nice work for your first time. I like the second one best because of the tie-in with the sign but I also agree with the comments regarding the leg. Here's a tip to consider the next time you photograph a female and her hands are visible. Try having her join the two middle fingers together with a slight bend to all the fingers. This may have helped in your third shot as the hand pose seems a bit stiff. Please tell us about how you lit this series of portraits.

Whoa... 2 thumbs up! I think the overall flow and composition of the 2nd photo is the best one of the lot. Great stuff...

thanks for checking my pix and the suggestion doc. I didnt pay attention on how my buddies set-up the light during the shoot, I was busy imagining the composition while staring at the models
