I snapped this real quick while I was outside today sitting on my patio. After a little bit of photoshopping I came out with a Lomo inspired shot. What do you think?

Hi Saralonde,
Thanks for the very informative link on the Lomo process. It appears that the key ingredients are vignetting, color saturation and contrast. The circular vignetting reminds me of the circle of illumination you get with a lens on a view camera, the style with the accordian bellows. It is that circle of illumination that allows one to make corrections by contorting the bellows to achieve the desired results. Perhaps the Lomo camera lens came up a little short on its circle of illumination creating the vignetting everyone who likes that style goes for. I also read where Lomo followers used cross processing of film (shooting transparency film and then processing it in chemistry designed for negative film.) I'll have to be on the lookout for more Lomo submissions now that I better understand the process.
