I think it's great the sepia tone, squared off and framed the expression. Very well done.

hva, Welcome

Good quality, focus. So little going on outside of subjects, you could have a terrific closeup by cropping another square more to the right and a little lower than center. This would make upper left corner all dark hair, right side would be most of arm, bottom includes tiny shoulder and part of tub, and top would be hair on shoulder. I would do a sample, but I'm away from PC and don't know if you'd mind edit. Joyous photo.

Great shot and one to be very proud of. I concur with Jiminy's comment regarding cropping---move it closer on the crop. You have done an excellent job of holding nice skin detail and tone dispite the very hot background. Care to share the equipment you used for this one and any post processing work?

I am using a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a EFS 18-55mm lens (I think, just the basic that comes with it...sorry, not really up on my terminology yet). Post processing: I cropped the picture and lightened it up a bit. I am new at photography but much newer at Photoshop

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely going to try that closer crop.

I know a bit more about kids than photography, and that is beautiful!
