I've been waiting all week for a nice sunny day with clouds for this shot. Tell me what you guys think.

It is a classic shot of Alcatraz - I am sure I have seen similar pictures but at least this one is yours.

If it were mine, I would want to do a little post-processing, particularly looking at colour balance (it has a rather magenta cast) and contrast (to reduce the haziness of the hill in the background).

Or you could take it the other way - stick a border round it, perhaps crop it a bit and make it look like an old postcard that has been a little weathered from sitting out in the sun.

i agree with wulf its a great shot but some pp needs to be done to remove some red

Nice composition. The clouds definitely made the sky more interesting. The colors do seem to be a bit off. I wish I had taken a shot like that when I went to San Francisco last year. All I got from my Kodak DX6490 was this Alcatraz photo which pales in comparison to yours.

Thanks. I`ll touch up the color a bit. I have boosted up contrast for the image already. It was pretty hazy to begin with.

Yes I did. I wanted the strong contrast in the clouds.
