almost looks like a gel of some kind...
I like the pattern. I think if there were something to "pop" out at you it might make it a bit better. Something to Break up the pattern like a bright fish or something. Still I love the way the light is refracting in the water.....

windrider86,

Wonderful imaginative shot. Did you experiment with other colors for frame accent? This yellow line competes some for attention. The blue in the highlights in top of photo would not stand out as much as an accent line, and would still relate to photo.

Very cool shot, love the texture, Do you have any details on the shutter speed , iso and arpature that was used? I think the image could be a little sharper.

I agree with murtasma - I think this could be a tad bit sharper as the focus looks a little soft. Good work overall.

I'm with xxpinballxx. I'm also looking for some other object that will make the photo more than just a pattern.

A big fat goldfish looking fish like you see in those japaneese gardens would be perfect.

Default Rippling water with a koi in it

Wall as you can see I havent quite figured out how to do layers yet where this lil fish didnt look quite so much like he was sitting on top of the water. Perhaps you might offer me some suggestions?
I'm using Corel paint shop pro. I havent figured out how to adjust the different layes and then blend them together so that the oucome is different than the original. You see when I flatten the images they all just look like the original which is obviously not what i want.
