Default Clouds

Hey guys! I'm relatively new to photography, and I only have a simple point-and-shoot camera, my olympus fe-190. It seems to suit me well for automatic shooting.

Anyways... I recently took a picture of the sky, and clouds. Any comments?

It is an interesting cloud formation. Did you do any post processing on it? Perhaps you could up the contrast a little.

AJTx0, Welcome

Pretty good for P&S. A different foreground might add interest, as would later/earlier sun (out of your control), or some post work to intensify darks.

Is this any better?
Sorry. I'm not too great at using photoshop. Hehe.

AJTx0,

Better, and a bit too far for a natural richly-colored sky, probably moreso because the glow of sun sort of stops in a small area. You're on the right track; go back to the real thing. Study the transition from bright to dark. Practice. Those clouds are really full of light!
