Default Flowers on Fence

This is one of my first attempts at playing with aperture. I'm thinking that the head of the fence post (bottom right) has too much focus... any ideas? comments?

the flowers are nice and colorful. i would suggest cropping down the picture so the entire blown out portion on the left is gone.

I would try to take a less angled shot , a little closer and vertical to the flowers then crop out the right side to show just the flowers.

Hi,
I like the color here. It isn't that your fence post is too sharp, I'd sooner say that it was to light a tone value. Because it is lighter than the surrounding area, it jumps out at you and competes with the flowers. I also agree withthe comment regarding removing the blown out corner as it adds no value to the shot and carries your eye away from the subject. Thanks for sharing your photo with us. Keep shooting.

tarzy, Welcome

Flowers are known to love the lens! Especially when they are the stars, they're at their best. Or back up and show the fence of your title, as a feature in front of building. That little dash of color would stand out. Enjoy the process!
