Default Old Sway Back

Ok, let me have it. Don't hurt me to bad. I have a black and white version, but the colors are unreal I think. Did fool with the color channels a tad in PS.

You are right the colors are amazing but its just really cluttered to me and I'm not sure (well my eye isnt) where it should focus. Maybe some cropping would help with the focal point? Like try cropping out the tree all the way to the left and some of the ground in front? Or try cropping out that green tree next to the building since the lack of color in that corner doesn't confuse the eye.

Not sure what else to say since it is such a beautiful picture.

I think its the midtones which need darkening

that's a great shot! I do agree in part with the others... it's a little cluttered (but only just), and the tones could use a little adjusting. I love it, though, and couldn't help but play with it some...

Beautiful colors, one reason shooting in the fall is so much fun. Definitely an interesting building, too. Wonder what it would look like in the winter without the leaves on the trees and maybe b&w?

I think it's great too. What would it look like if you toned the colour down a bit. So that the tones are more in line with the tone of the house. Could you post the original too?

Default love it!

I particularly love the way the trees bend to the right over the "sway-backed" house. I also think that the color (even if slightly altered) is magnificent as many fall scenes really do pop like this one does. The colors of the leave on the grey building are amazing. What would I improve if I could? Probably crop a bit -- particularly on the right. Great job! Your photo made me nostalgic for my Pennsylvania upbringing.
