Default One of my favorites.

What do you think? I happened to have my camera in my pocket when I went to a restaurant. I snapped this just outside while my bro pulled the car around. I think it turned out rather nicely.

I decided to mess around in photoshop and I think I made it even better.

I would appreciate any input anyone has on these pictures.

The two top flowers are too overexposed. The colours are nice in the first one - but the pictures a bit busy - I feel some creating cropping coming on !

You have some beautiful flowers with strong colors here. I think the pink begonias are competing with the yellow marigolds, even though they are less sharp. If you take a shot like this again, try getting in close to the flower you want to be the main subject and use a very shallow depth of field (a low aperture number) to further blur the background. Alternately, with post processing, you could crop the picture down to get rid of some of the background and even blur the back a bit more.

Thanks for the suggestions. The problem is my camera doesn't have enough control over my settings. I can't even change my f settings or exposure length. It's a good camera, but it is not the best.

Any other suggestions would be awesome.

I think the background red flowers are abit distracting. I would try to do a macro shot of the flower instead. you will hv a better shot of the subject with less distraction. But anyway good try. keep it up.
