Paliman, Welcome

Traintracks, streams and roads are often shot from inside those areas so that viewer is lead off into the distance. I like this way too, with the gentle S-curve. Clouds could have less contrast, and shadows more detail, things you can experiment with, adjusting aperture and/or shutter speed. It's sharp enough to count the wildflowers . . . good shot.

Welcome to the group. Nice balance and composition. Would be superb if the tracks led to a visible subject. What form of post processing did you do to heighten the contrast? Can you fill us in on what you did? It appears that you may have been experimenting with High Dynamic Range or tone mapping. Thanks for sharing your work.

Nice shot. The road leads the viewer's eye right through the scene.

like the foreground but a crop getting rid of some of the sky might be a better look. Minimal amounts of sky especially with that cloud formation all bright and at the end of the road so to speak.
