Talking Jump!

Nathan

Do you see anything that could make this better? I was thinking, that maybe, I should have had a more downward angle? Maybe captured his whole right arm?
Maybe brighter lighting? I'm not sure about the lighting, but I like how your attention goes more towards him, than the trees (because they're silhouettes)

I agree with your comments - a tad bit more lighting / exposure, better framing, slightly higher perspective, and a tad bit of noise reduction would be helpful.

Overall, the shot is good - with minor improvement I could see this as a stock shot.

Hi urgirlie13

I like the energy of your shot. Pity about the arm, but I'm sure you will catch it next time.

I have taken the liberty of making a small adjustment to your photo (hope you don't mind). I selected the sky area, inversed it, made a levels adjustment layer, used the white eyedropper to click on the white of his pants to balance the colour, then made the opacity 60% and the blending mode luminosity. (PhotoShop CS2)

I think it lifts the figure out from the background a bit.

Looking forward to seeing some more of your work.
