All I can say is very nice work. Nicely composed and with excellent highlight and shadow detail. Any post processing here or is it as it came out of the camera? Thanks for sharing this with us.

I like the colours - any colour you want, as long as it is blue! Apart from the tiny hint of orange / red in the basket of the balloon, which provides a good contrast.

How many different ways of framing it did you consider? It works but there might be some other possibilities that would be as good or perhaps even better.

This is a GREAT shot! I just love seeing hotair balloons. I went to your Flickr site & I absolutely love the "The Crowded Field" shot. Also, the "30 Balloons in the Morning Sky", is pretty cool too. As for critiquing this one, maybe, just maybe, crop out the bottom a tad bit. That's about all I can come up with.

As shot, just a little increase in the saturation post since it was way too freaking early to drive over to Decatur and I forgot to change the setting in my camera before hand.
