Default Florida Beach

I took this picture on Anastasia Island in Florida. The Atlantic Ocean is just over the dune. I like the picture because the area seems so secluded and private. Ironically, I had to wait a few minutes for a parasailer (being pulled by a boat paralleling the beach) to clear the photo area before I took the shot.

tufcat,

The stuff good photos are made of, composition, thirds, diagonals, subtle colors, foreground entry, a sense of place. You have those, and each in good form. A busy sky would have been too much. Way to see!

Nicely composed and balanced with the sky, fenceline and the grass in the lower left hand corner. You have a good eye for composition. Keep shooting!

Thank you for your review and generous replies. I have been trying to pay attention to composition, but if I got everything right, it was likely more luck than skill.

I have a few other photos that I would like to receive similar review and feedback on. I will post them soon and look forward to more constructive review. Thanx again.

Kinda reminds me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I'm liking it all around.

Great shot of a most excellent area.

I lived 1,500 foot from the beach on Anastasia Island for two years. After a rough hurricane season a few years ago we decided to build about 4 miles inland. Not far enough to avoid wind damage, but were now high enough to keep our house from getting washed into the Atlantic.
