Morning Haloes
This morning, best of five. Lots of post, but not to 'create' haloes; they were there as seen from backlighting. Thirty feet away, focus was all over the place.

Used to notice things like this all the time, and hope someday to paint them. That didn't happen, but I am starting to see again. This haloing happened again this morning; you're right, looks like a big fireplace!

Thanks; the painting has lost most of its appeal, now that scenes like this one can be so quickly and cleanly put on file.

I know what you mean. Used to paint a lot more, but now do mostly life drawing - I find it more expressive, though I have the utmost respect for landscape artists (very difficult subject).

That may still a possibility, since I don't take "people pictures" so much. I still love the pencil/paper sketching, and am struck by the expressiveness of a face. Might have to find a second forum!
