Default First attempt at Hummingbirds

Used my 70-200 VR.
I thought I had everthing just right,not so,pics are a bit blurry.
Pics were taken in Auto mode.
Focal Lenght 200mm
F3.2
Exposure time 1/640 sec.
Can some one suggest settings for P,S & A modes.Thanks.
I will have to keep experimenting I know but some suggestions would help me along my way.

ok Neil.. gonna have a talk with ya on Sunday..
for starters .. try setting the aperture to f8.. might improve the sharpness...
don't put food colouring in the sugar water and if you brought the store stuff forget it.. mix 4 parts boiled water with one part sugar .. perfect mix for them.. don't fill the feeder full the sugar water will go off before they can even drink it... it will refrigerate for abt 2 weeks if its been boiled

Try to get a little closer next time the humming bird is pretty small and as nature said I would shot at higher f-stop. Try shooting at F-8 at 200 MM keep your shutter speed at least 1/200th of a second or faster control this using your iso.

try moving the camera a little bit so there's nothing in the background. that tree on the right hand side is distracting.
