I've had a quick play with it. Adjusting the curves suggests that it would be a good picture for lomo treatment. However, I recovered a more natural look using the levels tool. What I'm trying to find now is the tutorial I based my approach on (since I haven't got time to explain the steps in detail).
However, you might get good results just using an auto-whitebalance command - I did this with the GIMP and, bam!, immediately got a much improved result. Wulf |

Ooh - I am Photoshop impaired!! GIMP?? Layers and dialog box? My birthday is coming up and I have asked for a good Photoshop book (Photoshop for Dummies, perhaps?). Wulf, if you have a tutorial, or could post your re-touch, I would be very grateful.
It was shot jpg. I have yet to venture into the world of shooting in RAW. I'd be VERY interested in seeing it with a lomo treatment. I read the tutorial on that, but I think I need to learn to walk upright in Photoshop before I try to fly. I will work on it with the whitebalance and maybe different filters. thank you, again for your time and comments! |

The Gimp is, like Photoshop, a powerful image manipulation program. Unlike Photoshop, it is free and open source.
What version of Photoshop do you have? Someone who has a copy themselves may be able to tell you where the auto-levels command is on Photoshop - I would be (pleasantly ) suprised if you can't do the job as simply and effectively as you can on the Gimp.Wulf |

Coyotepsych,
An inspiring example? Mostly cloning tool to unclutter, small crop, added red and yellow in varying amounts, some saturating, contrast, vignette. ![]() Anyone notice the similarity: http://picasaweb.google.com/dpfotoaz...75741009972642
