Heart of Driving
In this shot I tried to focus on where the life of a car lies; in the engine and the wheels. Think I got the message with this shot?

It's a fair panning shot, although more b/g would suit that description better. Not sure I would have gotten title from photo alone. Sort of expected to see a driver . . .

Since some of the highlights are burned out, I would have been tempted to increase the contrast even more, pushing it into the "high-key" zone.
Good observation about the (lack of a) driver, Jiminy - now that you have mentioned it, that becomes a prominent part of how the shot has been cut. Wulf ps. Good work on the panning, PMA.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess it's more the heart of the car than the driving for the title maybe.

My 2 cents: a more interesting angle to try would be slightly more from the front (from the headlight), so that you get more of the car in the frame towards the back and a bit of an angle. Nice work
