Default A White Flower

This a close up shot I took of a flower while walking yesterday. Though I'm upset I cut a bit of it off I still like what I got after playing with photoshop. I used a plug in called Virtual Photgrapher and after duplicating the original picture I had look at what I could do with it then used a Gaussian blur of 10.5 on the second layer and set opacity to 60%. I got this.

Here is the original shot.

ShadowyFigure, Welcome

As a fan of yellow roses, especially nearly unblemished ones, I'd keep the original and hide the edit under "Experiment." The "pinkness" of edit could be emphasized and generally contrasted more, but original is just by far the better one. The blur is also a bit too much here.

The first image is interesting, but I prefer the original also. What you did on the first one might be good if you were trying to cover some imperfections. Like Jim said, you got an unblemished rose.
