Default Frogs , "ribbett"

My mum has frogs in her pond, so I got down on my belly and took some pictures, it was quite a dreary day.

Unfortunately I know I have burned/blown some of the highlights (is that the right term?). This was the better one out of the group of them that I took.

My mum has took pity on me and ordered me a polarising filter, cos I was so disapointed lol mums gotta love them.

But I do love this shot despite it.

This a very good shot if you ask me! I like it the way it is & I'm not sure a polarizer would have helped much. You would have to slow down your shutter speed or raise your ISO & you know what that means. Keep up the good work!

knickers71uk,

(Applause, Applause) For the photo and your willingness to get 'in his face' to take this guy's portrait. Especially effective with the vegetation.

Nice shot K, I saw your other one on Flickr while looking at your pony shots, and I like the other one as well.

John.

really guys? wow I really thought I had buggered them up because of blowing some of the highlights.

Luc not sure about the darkening, Only thing I can think of is it was really a dreary day and I used the flash and the area is enclosed. Sometimes I add edging frosting to some images to enhance a portrait but I didnt with this one.

Jim...yeah I was right in the little guys face lol, my mum thought I was gonna fall in!! lol I was kinda hanging right over on my belly.

I am so glad everyone liked it *blush*

lol yeah they are enormously cute, i dont even have a clue what sort of frogs they are, but i have been told if i sprinkle the pond shelf they will sometimes get out, so on a nice day I'm gonna try and do it, see if I can get some more. I should upload the whole set so you can see them in action lol, there were 3 in total, they were sat in like a semi circle like 3 old men having a gossip lol
