Hi all again!
I was kinda fascinated by Lance Nelson with his two lomo shots, so i've decided to try post producing one of my own. Here goes: ![]() Ciritique is more than welcome! Actually i'm thinking of asking you to give some tips on producing lomo shots. Firost of what features a picture must have to look good (lots of colours, big contrast, etc.)? P.S. Yay, i'm not a junior member anymore! ,)

Nice shot. When I'm producing Lomo style shots (in Photoshop) I like to turn up the red and green's and also give it more saturation and contrast.
How did you create your vignette? One thing I noticed about real Lomo shots is the vignette is normally not as symmetrical as yours looks. Possibly try to create the vignette effect using the lasso tool in Photoshop.

i've search for information on lomo in the internet and i found a pre-made photoshop action. Downloaded it and just pressed the [Play] button.
Actually it has the support for making lomo effect with and without "darkened border". You can download the action from here.

Hmm, I'll have to test that out. Thanks for the heads up.

here is another lomo effect technique. I think this one is a bit easier and faster to do.

i've checked this one as well, but i noticed it's coppied from Gimp, 'cause "Select your entire picture note: using select: all, will not work" does not work (menu items are inactive). I think logic is that you can't inverse selection if you have selected nothing (maybe -5 points to usability, but it's the way it is)...
