Default Lomo

Lately, I have been getting into Lomo style photography. Since I don't actually own a Lomo I use Photoshop to try and get the same effects. I'd like to get some input on a few of these pictures that way I can hopefully improve on this new technique...

I like them both, but the top one really screams lomo to me. I find they come together better when the subject is man-made. I don't know why, and it may just be me, but that is what I like.

Lomo is a type of Russian camera that tends to emphasize oversaturated colours, and off-kilter focus. It can be replicated by using a Photoshop Action or by following the steps on the DPS Blog tutorial.

I've always found that Lomo looks good on subjects that have a 1970s, like a combi van.

Serioulsy, vintage looking Lomo shots are really cool. I really need to look for something to photograph around my area that gives off a nice timely feel.
