Hello all,
Thanks very much for your suggestions to my previous posts. I took this picture a few weeks ago at Singapore airport. Though I reckon that was the best I could manage, please advise how I may improve the shot. ![]() Thanks Diablo

It looks as though this was shot through a window perhaps? Maybe to capture more of the effect, roll down the window and use a longer shutter speed (.5 + seconds) and rear sync flash to capture a nice blur of rain.

well, this was a glass partition in the outdoor smoking zone in singapore airport. So rolling down wasnt an option.
Since I wasnt sure how to capture the rain blur, I did not attempt it. I do need to learn more about rear sync flash. Any place I can read more about it? Thanks Cheers G

diablo,
Great moody piece of Art. Travelers everywhere can relate. At top of page, "Search" is good place to begin. It lead to this: http://digital-photography-school.co...ow-sync-flash/ Pardon me, xysmas, for the insert.

Hey jiminyClickit!
Thanks for the appreciation! Well, I did read th slow sync technique last evening on this site. But I wasnt very sure I understood the concept. That is the reason for my asking if there were any tutorials/information that xysmas knew of. Anyway, thanks for that tip! Cheers Diablo
