A few insect & flower shots

Taken today at around 4:15. My first attempt at close-up photography with my new H2... I cant wait to get the Canon 250D lens to really get into macro territory! Let me know what you think!

I love these two little grasshopper shots... he was very patient for me. cute little guy, huh?





As for these two flower pics... which is better, the wider or closer croped one?

The closer crop on the flowers is better by far. Nice job!

Nice when bugs stop to pose for you .

I like the second flower better, too. The closer crop gets rid of some of the distracting elements, such as the dead blossoms and colorful background.
