Default Those dang "nature" shots...

I dabble in my photography efforts, but like to get better so any critiques would be FABulous. I had just put out the laundry here @ school and there were a few other girls who had laundry on the line. I grabbed my camera to snap a few shots. This was one of my favorites, so I figured I'd sacrifice it on the proverbial altar. Hack away, please.

Great shot - love the shallow depth of field, color balance, light rays and composition.

I would maybe crop the top a bit higher or have composed the shot with a little less sky and the full flower as i find the amount of white to be a bit high up there.

All in all, excellent.

Lovely shot
I would crop a little bit off the left of the flower. The white doesn't bother me - it enhances the feel of intense sunlight. The flower could have little bit wider focus area, but I like the shallow DOF. Well done on capturing a bit of magic in a 'mundane' scene.

I usually find nature photography a bit boring, but I really like this shot. The laundry as a background is great and I like the light. It makes me feel like I'm really there watching this flower and being half-blinded by the sun.

Maybe I would crop/tilt the picture a bit so the flower and the sun are each at one end of the diagonal line (the flower in the bottom left corner and the sun in the top right corner).
