Hi, I recently finished my studio set up so I had my son model for me. I know that its a cutsie pic but I would appreciate any C & R you all may have. I edited the image using Bibble Pro; convert to BW, crop, contrast and sharpening. Thanks.

everything seems to be spot on except for (his) left cheek - it is a tad bit overexposed and loses some detail there. Overall nice though - maybe adjust your lighting down a touch.

Default Thanks

I am use to using a flash/ ambient meter so it still takes me awhile to get the lighting right.

Thanks again.

I had simular thoughts. The backgroud should be lit to remove or reduce the shadows. If you looking for a clean white background it will need about twice as much light as the subject. Also I would have preferred a much lower camera angle, or elevate your son.. The lower angle would hvae not put the background bend at neck level. you would also have a photo where your not looking down at the child. As a general guide I like to level the camera up with a childs chest. I'm sure you'll be taking more photos of your son. Try a lower point of veiw next time. You'll be pleased. But please don't think I'm being harsh about you photo. I'm just stating what I would change about it.
