Default Old Stone Coffin

Stone Childs Coffin

Taken at a very old church near to where I live. This one is only the size of a newborn baby. The bowl type object is, I believe, the original font from the church. A little bit morbid I know but I think that it is interesting.

What do you think?

John.

Its a good shot, but the bit on the left is a little distracting.

That stone basin may have been used to do baptisms. I saw something similar in Spain, and thats what they used it for.

A B&W version could be explored... maybe with a bit of contrasting. I like it though - there is omething to be said for the contrast of colour and subject matter.

Thank you all for the feedback, sorry its took me so long to reply but I've been away for a few days without my PC but may have some better shots to post!

purplepixie, I never thought to try b&w but I'll give it a look when I get some time, thanks.

Cheers, John.
