When first looking at the image I was attacted by the beautiful red and the wonderful complimentary green. The green seems to enhance the wonderful red of the rose. After looking at the image further I am also drawn to the perfect specimen you chose to capture.
To further make this image a real winner I would choose to simplify the background by using a shallower Depth of Field (DOF.) This would blur the background a bit so it was not so busy and would not be competing for attention.
In fact I find with flower pictures it is also a wonderful idea to fill the image with the flower by getting as close as possible.
A very nice shot.
