YoAshnish, Sr.

Castle Church? That is unusual. I'm trying to imagine what might be on the left, and whether it would help to "untighten" the composition if there were more space showing next to (bell?) tower. Also more lawn, if it's attractive. Then I wonder what would you get if you took your light reading in lower center shadow area (between little tree and building). Just some thoughts, Y. Soon, "normal" will be anything that reflects light (so vampire portraits will remain rare).

Thank you Jiminiy for your words of wisdom/advice! You have helped to crack my tight vision! Never even thought about the shadowed area ! There is a large tree to the left of the tower, the front lawn is small, though a bit larger than what is in my photo. I will probably go back...hopefully I can find it again ...and take a few more photos at a different time of day.
And goodness, glad to hear vampire portraits will remain rare! Though I do need more portrait practice...and dimples said, thats enough, so I need a new guinea-pig, um I mean subject/model .
