![]() This pic was taken in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The flowers were lit by a ray of sunlight which filtered down through the trees. The pic has not been photoshopped in anyway. I really like the shot but I'm not sure why!! i think it's the light. Thanks in advance for comments.

This is the second shot I've seen of yours recently that does really well with light (i.e. your light filtering down on the tents shot). I love the light on these lilies! I also like the deep shadows on the leaves. One thing that caught my eye early on, however, was the big space to the left that's just pretty much black (except for that nice leaf). I would try cropping the left side out, really getting some nice emphasis on those flowers. In fact, I would even try cropping it portrait orientation, since the flowers are giving an 'upwards' feel already, almost like a fountain. But, enough of that, very stunning shot! Thanks for sharing.
