Welcome Spring

This is an Adirondack weather stick forecaster. When the stick is pointing up, fair weather is in store. When the stick is pointing down, bad weather is on the way. I don't know why, but it works. This was taken yesterday and the weather today is supposed to be beautiful, so our loon is going to welcome spring, hence the sign.

Any comments on the picture are welcome, just as is spring.
