Default The hand is a window to the soul.....

Hey guys.

Always a fan of coming getting an idea of what you think about my work and where I can improve.

I am still working on making my arrangements better.
Here are some of my previous arrangements:

Sk8ter Boi

Can some one tell me why I don't like these spreads...PART 3

Can some one tell me why I don't like these spreads...PART 2

Can some one tell me why I don't like these spreads

So now here is another one.
I took a post in my blog ( Link ) of my co workers' hands and tried to do something with it.

I'm happy with the idea but the execution needs some work
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I'm fairly new to all this, but personally I really like it. I think the idea is great and the execution is pretty good to.

My only cricism, and it might just be me missing the point, is that I don't understand the relevance/link to the grasses/reeds at the bottom of the frame.

sagelike31,

Always glad to see your posts, because I know it'll be something new and unusual. "The hand is a window to the soul" had me expecting (?) something else. Is "as expressive as the face" the other half of that quotation?

Minor thing: the author's name being the same size as the quote is not usually done. Smaller, or italicized, even sometimes a different font will make it obviously not a part of the quote. Minor.

If it were my hand graphic, I would try to use the same number of photos as there are segments in the fingers. You have 18 pictures plus the wonderful palm. Fifteen would still more than get your point across, and bring the complexity down a notch.

Great idea; reeds/grasses?

Sagelike31,
Great to see your photos again. Neat. I agree with jiminyClicket about the fifteen.

sagelike31,

. . . and bigger overall hand, so your photos can be better appreciated.
