Default Portrait or landscape?

Ok so shot some more sunset shots.. So what do you think I like the portrait one better cause there is a lot more sky. I should probabbly crop out some of the water tho as it really doesn't do much for the photo. The landscape is nice too I think but it just doesn't grab me as much as the portrait one does.

Definitely portrait. Landscape looks too centered.

Do you think it would look better if I reframed the sun at the third line on the left or right?

RexK_Cozumel,

Have to take advantage of web time, to answer your question as second opinion, yes, close to the 1/3, and especially if it would take out little snippet of cloud on right, and the top and bottom strips of unnecessary lightness. Beautiful coloring.
