Default Now thats what I'm talkin' about

After 4 days of rain, finally we have sun! So I went out for a walk today and couldn't resist taking another photo of the waterfall down our road. I like the dreaminess of the capture and I remembered to change my shutter speed this time. I like this capture a lot...could be the effects of 4 days of rain...LOL
Anywho, I am still fairly new to photograpy. I've been working on composition and exposure. Please share your thoughts, critique and/or criticism. Thank you in advance for your helping me grow in my photography!
Oh and by the way, no post processing yet, other than a small crop.

Now thats what I'm talkin' about

Wow! Love the shot. The water and composition seems wonderful. The only thing that catches my eye is the branch? sticking out on the right side, it tends to draw my eye there and away from the waterfall.
Other than that, great work!

Thank you JaxSnaps and rikkersc for your comments and critique! I did "try" to clone out that branch on the right...but it didn't come out perfect...could tell when looking closely that there was cloning . Right now, I use PhotoImpact Pro for editing, it's helped but not sure about the cloning piece.
Wish I would have seen that little bugger b4 snapping

That is probably Smiley xtra 4.1.1. One of the add-ons for Firefox.

oh wow, that's an impressive looking waterfall! I really can't wait to go out and find something similar soon :x

One thing though is that it looks like you're the victim of some harsh lighting. It looks like the waterfall area was shaded, so to compensate, your camera metered that area, making the water towards the bottom overexposed.

But I think that stuff is fixable with some post-processing.

Overall, beautiful shot!

YoAshnish,

Well done. This is one of those you will come back to as your editting skills develop. It will hang somewhere in your home soon after that.

Digidave, thanks for the info on the smiley con...ummmm Firefox? What is that exactly?? Sorry...heard of it, the name, but don't know what it is.
Yurik, thank you for your comments. Regarding the lighting, I feel it adds a dream like quality to the image. Am I the only one???? It's too much, maybe??
Jiminy, thank you for your comments as well. I continue to work on editing, am starting feel I just may need to upgrade my software to Adobe, as I am not sure my software can get that fine....I will keep working it though!
