I will have to give the crop suggestion a try. One of the reasons for the photo was that the red on the cans just pop out. I also thought the plants might give a frame for the cans but could also become distracting.
I use to be apprehensive cropping photos but now I am seeing all kinds of new views cropping the photos. Thanks for the suggestion. |

an alternative it cropping it tighter is taking the shot from further away. If the title is "Trash as art" you can sort of show the trash in it's "natural habitat" and how it clashes with the natural landscape.
I'm not sure how it would look or if it would even improve the image, but just throwing an alternative out there :x |

I never see trash on the beach as art. I see your pic and it irks me that some geek littered on the beach again.
Now it would be a whole different story if you photoshopped some sunglasses on the cans. The cans look like to me that they are relaxing together after a night of partying. LOL I think the picture works except for the bread crust on top of the pic. The contrast that the trast has in the pic draws your eyes to it because you don't expect it to be there.

I like it. The increased saturation really screams Budweiser. I would try cropping that plant on the right. That said I would definitely keep the one on the left (it seems to add something to it). Great shot.

![]() I looked into the advice given by Wulf and Wyndhydra with this photo being the result. The bottom and top have been brought in with the right side plant removed. On the left side I let it out giving the plant on the left some room. It does seem to make the cans a bit larger. Which one is the better photo? |
