Perhaps if you were to get down to their eye level, you would be able to show more of their faces, particularly your daughters. It would be nice to see more of her expression. Checking you focus or your shutter speed, as Jiminy suggested, would help improve this, too.

The one thing my dad always told me when taking pics of kids was, to get down on their level, and you would always get a good photos (as long as ur not incompetant lol) so i reiterate saralondes advice.
NB i really must learn to spell check BEFORE i hit save lol
