Some easy changes to your habits will get a better shot next time:

-Before you snap a shutter, check an edge in your photo (the feed tray here) against the edge of your viewfinder for a level horizon (or cage or floor, whatever).

-Wait on the subject to give you a good side. Here you may have wanted an eye to show, maybe a seed in the beak, claws grasping something.

-A whole bird is worth two with no tail or feet showing. Even if you plan to crop later, whole subjects if possible.

Overall color and clarity are OK for now.

I love the bird....I think maybe if you took a second more the cockatoo might have raised its head to see what you were doing....Would have gave you a face to the pic and still could see it was feeding....a nice pic but the feathers look a bit dull from my experience with these birds. Maybe lighting was a bit dark.
but I know why you took the pic...those birds are so lovable and cute....
