Default Mr. Happy

Please excuse my cheesy titles.

This was taken at the Honolulu Zoo. Edited a bit with Kodak Easyshare editor.

I like the title, made me want to see who Mr. Happy was. Unfortunately for him, he looks a bit morose .
Looks like you took this in full sun, as there are some blown out areas that wash out the detail. That can be a tough time of day to take pictures. What camera do you use? Are you able to manually adjust aperture, ISO and speed?

Yes I can change the settings. Do you think some editing might make the colors pop more?

Just saw on another thread you have a Kodak Easyshare Z740. Sometimes the bright light can be controlled with a lens hood or filter, but I don't think these are options for you. You might be able to sharpen and darken it a bit in post processing.

You know, I have a lens hood but haven't actually used it yet. Guess it is time to put it to use.
