They must love fishing to be out standing in the water in these temperatures! I like the water pattern and the meandering way the riverleads you into the picture. Hard to see those fishermen though, even in the larger image.

Agreeing with Saralonde; even cropping half away to get fisherman closer would maintain quality.

yeah I agree with jiminy I played with your photo a bit last night to see if I could improve things post productive as it were, one thing that helped a little was that I duplicated the layer added a gausian blur of 6 (3 was quite good as well) then overlayed it over the original layer, merged the layers then i sharpened it once, then I cropped it in the manner that Jiminy suggested, and it did look a lot better. It brought the colours out in the trees and made the fisherman stand out more. I would have posted it but wasnt sure if you would mind people doing that.

I like the picture....I see a river and the fishermen are not of importance to me in this pic. I feel the power of the river is what sends my eyes into it. Showing the smallness of the men in it is a perspective I think works.
