Default Sunset over Dairy Crest

Taken on 10th april over looking factory in stonehouse.
Trying 2 learn what aperture means&this is one of the results.
Using my partner's camera which is a canon 350D
I also use a Fuji Z2.
A real novice here so please speak english in any responses.Ta.

I think you did pretty well with this. Composition is good with some foreground interest and the sillouetted tree to the left. Lovely sky. I might crop off some of the dark bottom, but that could just be a personal preference.

Agreeing with Saralonde, and adding: I'd take right side and bottom to maintain aspect (shape). Unusual tree and sliver of sun make this unique, and crop would bring that forward.

Certainly some cropping to get a better balance, i feel theres too much contrast betwwen the top (bright)of the image and the bottom (dark).I have taken well over 500 shots of sunsets/sunrises, the first 400 were crap but its the only way to learn.
