Addition of pink face might have been too much, good choice to convert. And if you blurred BG after the fact (or in-camera), also good (I might have gone darker near cheek). Moody is tough for parents, great for photos.

My attention continues to flit to top of cap where it dips. Just one of those things.

I like that!!!!, so cute, and have done similar thigs mixing the colour with black and white can be good fun

This is really impressive. I like the contrast between the 'think pink' outfit and her face expression.
