Easter Blooms

Still playing with aperture, trying to take pictures of flowers and I havent got a macro lens, so had to go manual focus, with the lens that came with the 350D 18-55 and still trying to get the hang of not wobbling all over the place , cos couldnt use tripod, cos was nearly sat in the flower bed lol.

I used aperture 5.6 and changed the ISO to 400, wanted strong colours, and to see as much detail as my lense would allow. hope I achieved that.

Anyway I adjusted the saturation in psp X and sharpened it.



And these flowers were right next to the other flowers.



the aperture is the same but i changed the ISO to 100, also the speed has changed, but i dont think i changed that lol....told u i was dangerous, think the camera chose that bit lol.

You're doing something right, to get some good BG blur. Sharp focus of centers, great colors.

Thanks Jiminy, I must admit I am chuffed with these! Just want to get some more lenses now lol *mumbles something about money*
