Default Windy weather

Picture from the village I grew up in, in northern Norway. Was very windy so the sunbeams looked like laser beams moving fast over the ocean.

My first attempt of 2 pictures with different exposures to get more detail in foreground.
Used layer mask and gradient tool.

My favorite moments is when the sky appears like that. I think you have captured it well although I couldn't tell it was windy.

The house in the bottom right (yellowish) looks blurry maybe a smudge on the lens cuz nothing around it seems to have the blurriness.

jungl,

Beautiful moment caught well. Maybe a little left-weighted, but Nature is what it is.

Christa,

Look to Sun, on opposite side from direction of yellow house: see the pink spot (upper left of photo)? This may be flare from direct sunlight striking lens coating. The pink and yellow are classic signs, on opposite sides of source, different size.

This shot looks even better when looking at the larger size. It does appear to be lens flare on that house.

Thanks for the comments and input!
I can't see any flare on the original, but the house is much darker there. Might try to make it a little darker a on the layer mask with a brush with low opacity.

This layer stuff is exciting
