I prefer this version, assuming you are going for the impression of a picture from years ago. The other one is not very sharp - even with this picture, I would prefer it a bit crisper.

Kunal, you certainly have lovely and very interesting places to photograph! Like Wulf, I prefer this one. The sepia tones do make it look like an old photograph. How did it look in color or b&w? The foreground looks a little out of focus. What was your aperture setting? Perhaps a higher number would get you a greater depth of field. Was this handheld or did you use a tripod? Your other shot has beautiful colors, but as Wulf mentioned, also seems a bit out of focus. Using a tripod for a landscape shot such as this might make it sharper.

Default Tripod

Dear Wulf and Sara,

Thank you for your comments. The thing is they do not allow tripods inside the temple area. Maybe next time i will try and rest my hand somewhere while shooting and try and get some sharper shots. Thanks!

also yes i was trying to get the old feel. This temple was built in the 7th century.

I like the one posted. Though i like the full colour one, it seems really warm and inviting.

I also like the sepia one. It has the monastic feel whereas the color sets the tone for a tourist attraction on a postcard. Both are excellent shots.

I am partial to color and would definitely choose the second one. It is very eye catching.

I am with Anoop. I think it's the fact that I have been stressed out at work, and the color one instantly made me feel calm like a much-needed vacation.
thanks for posting them!
