I think this is a fantastic photograph.
The clouds are nicely pronounced, the road sweeps nicely and the low-level perspective makes the road have a good impact on the shot. Perhaps something at the end of the road would be nice, but really the sweep in the road makes for a nice enough composition. I'd also be interested in a full-colour version as this is tranquil enough but I think it might look a little nice with a nice blue sky and warm black tarmac. Good work though

Thank you. I tried experimenting with different colors & whatnot. I tried really vibrant colors, black & white, blue-ish duotone, but I think I liked this one best. I have another one that I took in the same area.

andypyle,
Even if it was unintentional, including the peel-out treadmark adds yet more interest. Just curious what brought the choice of tint color?

I'm not sure actually. I think I just liked the way the clouds looked with the tint over it. It was taken off of Highway 166, not too far out from where I live (Nipomo, CA.) Thanks for the comments everyone.

I think I like the color shot better. I'm not sure if it's because of the color or the leg, but I find it more interesting. I don't think that the leg distracts but rather just changes the shot from a pretty scene to a shot of interest. If you showed someone 100 similar photographs this is one that they would remember. Great job!
