Default hmmmmm... what do people think is wrong with this

please could people be so kind as critique my landscape pic

For me the major part of the picture is too close to the middle of the image. It woud stand out more if there was a little more sky in the image.

yes, yes, the rule of thirds is especially important when it comes to landscape horizons..

I would also suggest cutting off the left side of the photo because the color and light seem to fade around there and distracts the main subject. I might provide better composition

Default some cropping

Either less sky or less sand would give the picture more interest. I would personally go with less sky, crop the top 1/4 off the picture. I like the variations in the texture of the sand. I also think the left side is a bit distracting. It lacks the color of the rest. What a beautiful scene, though.
