Default Hey.....

hey guys,
my first post. I'm 19 and live in perth, WA. In 2 months i'm off around the world with my girlfriend to Japan and Europe so i just bought my first DSLR - D80 with kit lens. Absolutely love it... I work with pro photographers at retail store and have been really getting into it. Would love it if you could go to my site:

Homepage

and post back here with some critique/suggestions, these photos mostly taken within the first month of my photographic experience

cheers

It would probably be better if you post individual shots here for people to critique

Shane, what a wonderful opportunity for using your new camera! I'm sure you could learn a lot here before you go .

Default Here's a shot

took this at Cott beach in perth after a week of having my camera, i love silouettes at dusk and i really underexposed the image to make it darker and bring out the colours of the sky. I have no idea with photoshop so i haven't altered the image in any way.

Thoughts?

shaneharrison1,

Some grand scenery there. With editting, the beach and wave movement could be brought into view, maintaining the sky's integrity.
