I took this picture few hours ago.
In reality the mosque looks amazing. Since I got my camera with me at the time. I snap few pictures hoping to get a good picture of it. Decided to play around with Photoshop to make it stand out a bit. The original were quite boring as usual, but after 15 minutes of clicking this is the result. What do you guys think about it? Enough? Over? Under? Others? ![]() I think it looks nicer with bigger resolution. Thanks yeah.

I agree with Jiminy - a lot of the foreground stuff is distracting, although it is often very hard to find a vantage point without it. If you can identify some places where you can view the mosque without them, it would be worth taking some more pictures - apart from the distractions, the overall treatment is beautiful.

I'm going with Jiminy and wulf on this one. I don't know what the original looked like, so I'm assuming this looks better. But the light poles are distracting, the trees coverup the front of the building (which I assume you wanted to showcase) and the sky competes for attention. I admire your ability to do the post processing, a weak point for me, but I think the perspective was a bigger problem.

love the photo, especially liek that spire. keeping in mind i am the biggest newbie and just going off personal opinion;
i agree with the others too much in the foreground, but i also think it looks to me to be too processed. I like my photos to look real, the colours in your photo to me look too surreal, little too processed. I like to use Photoshop to touch up. my 2 cents

msafiedin,
You are improving; that doesn't always come out in a Critique. With the experimentation, you have broadened the areas of learning. Each time you try something new, or do a shot over with suggestions from DPS members that make sense to you, your knowledge and experience grow. Willingness to change is great for improving one's skill. It's not easy to learn that.
