Hi Wood,
If you like it, that is what is important. But in the business of photography, you have to please the customer no matter how much you may love the final image. You have some nice colors and tones to play with here so experiment with some different croppings and see if you change your mind.

One of the major problems with sunrises and sunsets (as well as with flowers and pets) is that are sufficiently colorful and easy to find that everyone does them. Consequently, to rise above the level of "yet another .... shot" it either has to be quite unusual or else the usual done to an unusual standard of perfection.

Well, im not a pro, but maybe i can help.
I like the image, but i feel it needs a really interesting crop as there is alot of 'surround' that is distracting me from the sun, which i see as the focal point for the image. The dark sand at the front attracts me away from the focal area mainly. Overall though, it is a lovely shot. but a little bit of PP would make it an amazing shot. Is it ok if i edit it slightly with my limited knowledge to show you what i mean? ike, |
