Taking to the sky

Paraglider taking off; added a white border with a black trim levelled the horizon and adjust the levels using the sliders. Someone somewhere suggested keeping the last image more as a silhouette which I have tried to do with this one:

I love it! The ground, however is somewhat distracting... could you have gotten a similar shot when they were further above the ground? You could even photoshop out the strip of ground, but that might be rather difficult.

Hi googlit,

Spur of the moment thing; was on holiday in a caravan and looked out the window and saw two young guys messing about with something. Next time I looked, I saw the paraglider; grabbed a camera ran out the caravan and managed to capture three shots. Later on there were three of them in the sky.

I have been going to St Bees in Cumbria since 1961 and have never seen this sport done there before.

I could try cloning out the ground with the sea, be worth a try.
