I really don't care what anyone thinks, this is one of my greatest pictures to date:

It's a very sweet shot. You've really captured the fragility of the moment and you just want to hold the baby and protect from what is happening. However if you don't want it critiqued perhaps it should be in the Share my Shot post.

Thank you Christa.

I have no problem having my shot critiqued or I wouldn't have posted it here. Don't much care for the "Share My Shot" section as it's hard to learn if all you are doing is posting a shot looking for praise whether it's deserved or not. Can't really grow as a photographer that way.

Almost feel bad critiquing the shot. Cute kid.

It would have been better if you would have got a side profile instead of the top of head. I also would have cropped a bit tighter to really give emphasis on him (I'm assuming).

Still better than most.

Not possible since he's in the NICU and there's a warmer about 18 inches above his head.

Very cute kid :x

My only critique would be to add some contrast to the photo.

Definitely agree with the contrast. Haven't had much of a chance to do much editing since he's in the NICU and will be for a few more days. I think the color one does it a bit better (or at least my wife does):

Thank you Sara, he's doing much better. I'm writing the whole ordeal at my blog GamingwithBaby.com.

Default Beautiful

Nothing else matters when you are with your newborn baby. I like the intimacy of the shot. It could have a been a little more tight, but it is still great. Congratulations.
